Ha’penny Montessori School in Ashburn came to NetQwik for a Website redesign. Ha’penny had an existing website. However, they wanted their website to be more interactive, user friendly. They also wanted a calendar feature and school forms that parents could easily download. Being a school website they wanted the web design to be vibrant and user friendly. The Ashburn school also wanted their website to have content management so that they could easily update it. Another requirement was to have the website mobile friendly, since google predicts that more users are now using mobile devices to surf the net.
NetQwik created a web design for Ha’ penney Montessori School using Word Press as the content management system. The website has a calendar that the client can easily update. The website also has school forms for parents to download. Upcoming events, programs and menu’s are also available on the school website. The website also consists of a photogallery. The main goal for the website is to provide useful information to the parents.
Ha’penney Montessori school is located in Ashburn, Virginia. Ha’penny Montessori school accepts children aged 10 weeks through kindergarten. They offer part time and full time programs to cater to everyone’s needs. The current website is bright, user friendly, visually appealing and easy to navigate. The calendar functionality is color coded for ease of use.
According to the owner, the name Ha’penny was inspired by The Ha’penny Bridge in Dublin, Ireland, where Muiríde was born. The Ha’penny Bridge is a foot bridge joining the North and south sides of Dublin city. To Muiríde and Josh, it symbolizes the bridge between the diverse cultures in Montessori and the journey each child takes to become a valuable and contributing member of society.
